Limitations & Known Bugs/Issues

Nadrama is currently in Beta and the platform is rapidly evolving.

Current Limitations

The following features are not currently implemented:

• Automated upgrades
• KV encryption
• Automated backups
• Groups / RBAC / Custom Roles
• Manual scaling
• Auto-scaling
• On-demand nodes
• KubeVirt VMs

Platform Limitations

The following limitations are not planned to change, but if this prevents you from being able to use the platform, please reach out.

• Privileged containers are not supported.

  • Note that Nadrama comes with functionality built-in for which privileged containers are most-commonly required - for example, Cilium CNI.

• Access to kube- and system- prefixed namespaces and non-namespaced resources is restricted, as well as certain critical cluster resources such as CRDs and Cluster Roles/Bindings. Admin users may restart pods in all namespaces, however. For specific details on how this work you can view the cluster RBAC Helm chart templates here.
